Earlier today, the Metropolitan Police orchestrated a meticulously planned raid on a residence at 722. Acting on intelligence suggesting the arsonists were holed up there, the Territorial Support Group (TSG) spearheaded the operation, bolstered by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Emergency Response Team (ERT). Additionally, London Ambulance Service's HART Public Order Team (HART POT) paramedics provided invaluable support.

The raid quickly escalated into a tense standoff as the TSG sought to defuse the situation and ensure a safe resolution. Unfortunately, the assailants retaliated with Molotov cocktails and bats, resulting in injuries to several officers. Swift medical attention from the POT paramedics ensured their prompt treatment. Despite the chaos, one assailant was successfully apprehended, while two others attempted to flee but were swiftly detained with assistance from the Dog Support Unit (DSU) and National Police Air Service (NPAS).

Once the scene was secured by the Metropolitan Police, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) promptly arrived to extinguish a car set ablaze by one of the Molotov cocktails and to ensure all fires were extinguished, providing further assurance of safety in the area.
