Multi agency response to a popular London nightclub

At approximately 20:30 hrs, a suspected deliberate chemical release occurred at the Bahama Mammas nightclub. A full Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) deployment was initiated alongside specialist CBRNE officers. Emergency services secured the site and commenced casualty care and decontamination procedures.
Tragically, 13 individuals were confirmed deceased as a result of the incident. Multiple additional casualties were triaged and treated at the scene before being conveyed to local hospitals.
CBRNE officers established an exclusion zone and confirmed the area safe following thorough monitoring.
HART units carried out specialist response operations, including casualty extraction, decontamination, and hazardous substance assessment.
Multi-agency partners were engaged, including local police, LFRS, and LHS ambulance services.
Subsequent intelligence confirmed that the responsible terror cell launched a secondary attack on a shopping centre later in the evening. Of the eight suspects believed to be involved in both incidents, six have been accounted for; two remain at large. Security services and counter-terrorism units are actively pursuing these individuals.
