Authorised Firearms Officers Safely Escort Classified Cargo Amidst Protests
Earlier today, the Authorised Firearms Officers (AFO), supported by Special Escort Group (SEG), successfully escorted a classified cargo convoy through protests and obstacles.
The convoy, initially diverted due to a peaceful protest blocking its route, faced further challenges as protesters attempted to disrupt its transportation route on two occasions. Despite attempts to block the road and halt the convoy, swift action from officers, including the deployment of Territorial Support Group (TSG), ensured protestors are kept controlled and safe passage of the escort.
A particularly daring protester glued himself to the ground, but was swiftly apprehended by armed officers on scene and were successfully removed from the convoy's path. With the threat neutralized, the convoy reached its destination, where a personnel from the Ministry of Defence received and secured the classified cargo.
Praise was extended to all officers involved, highlighting their professionalism and effective collaboration in overcoming obstacles to ensure the mission's success.
