Critical Incident: Shots Fired Incident on M25 Southbound Prompted NHS response
A tense exchange of gunfire on the M25 Southbound has prompted a rapid and coordinated response from emergency services, with the London Ambulance Service declaring a critical incident. Reports suggest that armed police officers were met with individuals wielding firearms, resulting in a distressing toll of 14 casualties
London Ambulance Paramedics, supported by HEMS Doctors and Critical Care Paramedics, swiftly mobilized alongside the Special Operations Response Team (SORT) to triage and treat the wounded.
Chief Medical Officer (B2) KiltedScot, alongside Operations Manager (OM3) Olli and HEMS Team Leader (HE2) Brandon, arrived at the scene to coordinate the unfolding chaos.
Reflecting on the tragedy, KiltedScot stated, "During the incident, we treated 14 patients, tragically losing two individuals, including an Authorized Firearms Officer from the Metropolitan Police. Our thoughts are with the families and friends affected by this heart breaking event."
