Firearms officers double their training efforts

In recent weeks our Authorised Firearms Officers have took part in a variety of exercises to hone their skills and practice their teamwork to ensure the team can protect the public to the best of their ability. One of the most common incidents our armed officers respond to involve a building such as a domestic household or a business.

Our state of the art training facility has been created to maximise the efficiency of our drills and has been a recent favourite for firearm instructors when teaching building clearances. The aim is to have each of our members trained to the highest of standards with our new training resources by the end of November.
