At approximately 2:40pm on 07/02/2025, a road traffic collision occurred on the M25, near the casino. The incident involved a single vehicle which crashed and was subsequently engulfed in flames.

Initial reports indicate that the driver of the vehicle lost control, possibly due to a sudden swerve to avoid an obstruction. This caused the car to collide with the side barrier, leading to a fire that quickly consumed the vehicle.

The London Fire Brigade arrived at the scene and worked swiftly to extinguish the flames. Police CID, RTPC (Road Traffic Police Collision), and local Emergency Response Teams (ERT) also attended to manage the incident, secure the area, and assist with the investigation.

Medical assets were deployed to the scene as a precautionary measure, in case of any injuries.

Thankfully, there were no reports of serious injuries at this time. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, and the M25 was partially closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
