Police Foil Major Firearms Deal in Grapeseed Area: Seize £750K Worth of Weapons and Cash

Sunday 14th of April, Authorised Firearms Officers gained intelligence of a firearms deal taking place on a private airstrip in the Grapeseed area, the armed response vehicles swarmed the area, conducting a coordinated and effective strike resulting in the seizure of large quantities of firearms and an estimated 350 thousand pounds.

Unfortunately multiple officers sustained life threatening injuries and were treated by LAS paramedics with assistance from HEMS trauma team, the officers are in stable condition in an undisclosed hospital awaiting further treatment. 3 suspects were also injured, with 1 being arrested unharmed.

This suspect gave up further intelligence during an interview with detectives, allowing a further raid to a warehouse in the port of London. During this raid a further 400 thousand pounds and an estimated 45 weapons were seized, making this the most succesful raid so far. Those apprehended during this raid have been transported to holding awaiting a court date.
