HEMS provides high standards of clinical care within London, using the latest evidence based practice, delivered by competent clinicians who work effectively as part of a Critical Care Team.

The LHS encounters and deals with, but not limited to: RTC’s, Welfare checks, tending to GSW’s (Gun Shot Wounds), providing frontline Mental Health Care, and much more.

JRU (Joint Response Unit) is a Rapid Response Vehicle occupied by a Police Officer and an Advanced Paramedic. They bridge the gap between emergency medical care and law enforcement, providing support to the other dedicated professionals in the team.

HART or the Hazardous Area Response Team, are the first call to any extremely hazardous scenes which are not accessible or within the scope of risk for regular LHS units to attend.
